We adhere, as much as possible, to a flat fee structure in our estate planning practice. Typically, an estate plan starts with at least an hour of face-to-face interview with the clients. At that time, we make our recommendations and lay out what the fee will be. Since we've done more than a few estate plans, we've been down roads like yours before and take that experience into account when formulating the fee. Rest assured we both want a reasonable fee. If too high, you will not be happy and you will never be a source of referral for us. If too low, we will not be able to keep the staff and facilities needed to look after you and your family in the future.
